Veggie Bucket Reviews

Joining a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) was one of the best things I did last summer.
I got amazing fruits and vegetables for 18 weeks. Additionally, I purchased annuals for my garden from Beth at The Farmstead. I can't say enough great things about this wonderful family who my family has enjoyed getting to know in the last year.

“I LOVED my CSA share with the Farmstead!

Each week my bag was filled with a great variety of healthy fresh food that looked beautiful and tasted even better.  I also enjoyed the recipe cards and “surprise” items like flowers & carving pumpkins that made this CSA special.”

All summer long and into the Fall I enjoy the beautiful produce in my CSA share big red bucket from the Farmstead.

What a difference fresh from the field makes. I’m totally spoiled. The cost comes out to a few dollars a week and is totally worth every penny."

“Liam looks forward to via visiting the farm every Friday.

I credit this program for being the reason he eats any veggies at all!"

"I met Beth and Vijay a few years ago when they were first starting their farm.

They are the loveliest people, and they truly care about their community and how a CSA can benefit their customers. Human Concerns / Community Outreach of St. Patrick's Parish purchases a full share for Twin Oaks Shelter every summer. Beth and Vijay always make sure there is plenty in that particular basket. We’ve been told the residents love it and can’t wait to see what comes each week.

If you’ve ever thought about buying in to a CSA farmshare consider my friends at the Farmstead. The Shilts family has also been buying a share every summer and we really enjoy it, and not just for the corn and tomatoes! Their produce is fantastic, grown with love and care right here in Walworth County, and most summers picked by an all-girl farm crew!"
- Michelle Shilts
